Unlucky Party has luck games, where pure chance decides, and skill games, where speed, feel and wits matter. The host picks a type and a session length (3 or 5 games), the games run back to back, and the last-place player in each game collects unlucky points.

Luck

🃏Card FlipOne card per player, and exactly one dud. Everyone picks a card, then they are revealed one at a time. No explanation needed, which makes it the perfect first game.🐔Chicken ButtonEveryone holds the button down. Nobody knows when it will blow. Still holding when it blows? You lose. Let go too early? You might lose too.🏇Random RaceEveryone’s animal runs the same track. They trip, they surge, they slip on bananas. Just don’t finish last.💣Hot Potato BombWhen the bomb lands on your phone, tap a runaway button three times to pass it on. Nobody knows when it will blow.🏴‍☠️Pirate RouletteTake turns stabbing the barrel. Hit the trap slot and the pirate pops out. That player loses.🪜Group LadderPick a line, then the hidden rungs appear and everyone’s path is traced at once. Land on 💣 and you lose.🎰Slot MachinePull the lever and three reels spin and stop one by one. Lowest score loses. Three 💀 is an instant loss.

Whoever rubs the least in 8 seconds loses.⚡ReactionTap the instant the red screen turns green. Too early and you’re out.⏱️Exactly 10 SecondsThe clock is visible for 3 seconds, then disappears. Hit STOP at exactly 10.00. Furthest from 10 loses.🎨Odd Color OutEvery tile on the 7×7 board is the same color, except one that is a slightly different shade. Slowest to find it loses.⭕Perfect CircleDraw a circle in one stroke and get a score for how round it is. Everyone’s drawings are revealed side by side at the end.🎯1 to 30Tap 30 scattered numbers from 1 to 30 in order, as fast as you can. A group game for up to 40 players at once.🔎Find the NumberWe show you a number, then hide exactly one of it among 140 look-alikes. 888888898888… Slowest to find it is out.🔢Number DodgeEveryone secretly picks a number from 1 up to the number of players. Pick the same as someone else and you’re out. A game of second-guessing.🔤Letter QuizGuess the word from a topic, its first letter and its length. Example: fruit, "A _ _ _ _" → apple. Fastest correct answers pass.🎭Act It OutPlayers take turns acting out a silly scene. When everyone is done, vote for the funniest. Fewest votes loses.

Points and the unluckiest player

  • The last-place player in each game gets 3 unlucky points. With 4 or more players, second-to-last gets 2 and third-to-last gets 1.
  • The final game counts double, so a comeback is always possible.
  • After the last game, whoever has the most points is crowned "Today’s unluckiest". Ties are settled with a sudden-death Card Flip.
  • The host can tap "One more round" to start again with the same group right away.
