🎨 Odd Color Out

Every tile on the 7×7 board is the same color, except one that is a slightly different shade. Slowest to find it loses.

How to play

  1. Everyone sees the same board. One tile is a little lighter or darker.
  2. Tap it. A wrong tap locks you out for 1.5 seconds.
  3. Players pass in the order they find it. Anyone who doesn’t find it within 20 seconds loses.

Great for

  • A sharp-eyes battle
  • Quieter settings

Tips

  • Don’t scan tile by tile. Soften your focus on the whole board and the odd one pops out.
  • A very dim screen makes it harder.

Points and the unluckiest player

  • The last-place player in each game gets 3 unlucky points. With 4 or more players, second-to-last gets 2 and third-to-last gets 1.
  • The final game counts double, so a comeback is always possible.
  • After the last game, whoever has the most points is crowned "Today’s unluckiest". Ties are settled with a sudden-death Card Flip.
  • The host can tap "One more round" to start again with the same group right away.
